Estroven® Weight Management Directions for Use

  • Women (menopausal/post-menopausal): Take 1 capsule daily. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications or health care products. Take with food.
  • Recommended use: Soy Isoflavones may reduce severe and frequent menopausal symptoms (such as hot flashes and/or night sweats). Black Cohosh helps relieve symptoms associated with menopause. Black Cohosh is used in herbal medicine to help ease nervous tension (calmative). Contains proprietary Synetrim® CQ which supports cardiovascular health by reducing total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol. Synetrim® CQ helps to reduce blood glucose levels. Could be a complement to a healthy lifestyle that incorporates a calorie-reduced diet and regular physical activity for individuals involved in a weight management program. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond one year. For best results, use daily for a minimum for 60 days.
  • Contra-indications: Do not use if you currently have or previously had breast cancer and/or breast tumors or if you have a predisposition to breast cancer, as indicated by an abnormal mammogram and/or biopsy, or a family member with breast cancer. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Cautions and Warnings: Ensure you are up-to-date on mammograms and gynecological evaluations prior to use. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking blood thinners, if you have a history of hormonal or gynecological disease, including ovarian cancer, endometriosis, and/or uterine fibroids, if you have a liver disorder or develop liver-related symptoms, if you are taking hormone replacement therapy (HRT), including thyroid hormone replacement therapy. Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you experience breast pain, discomfort and/or tenderness, or if you experience a recurrence of menstruation and/or uterine spotting. If you have diabetes, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. If you experience symptoms of hypoglycemia including feelings of anxiety, dizziness, tremor, sweating, nausea or headache, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner.
